About the Role
Our Whanganui team is on the hunt for a Field Manager to manage the safety and quality of the work performed in the field. Reporting to the Works Manager you will lead a team of technical resources across the North Island, this team includes both copper and fibre technicians. 
 
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will have previous experience in project delivery and supervision; organisational skills; the ability to plan and avoid reactivity; the ability to lead a team; the ability to build strong working relationships with and influence key stakeholders; strong decision making coupled with the flexibility to listen to feedback and change course if necessary. Ideally you will have a strong understanding of then Telco Fiber Network. Manage end to end delivery of projects and operations for designated areas of responsibility. 
 
Responsibilities

•    Full Class 1 New Zealand Drivers Licence
•    A visible leader in the field, a minimum of 80% of the time is spent in the field
•    Provide project team members with all necessary technical information, plans, sketches and consignments
•    Provide on-site and off-site supervision of sub-contractors, ensuring all works are completed in accordance with contract/work instructions
•    An unwavering commitment to health & safety is essential
•    Ensure all incidents are documented
