Project Engineer (Civil)

The Opportunity

On the hunt for a 6 month fixed term contract? Ventia’s NSW Motorways and Tunnels Project requires a Project Engineer to predominately assist in the early stages of project development.

What you’ll be doing:

• Schedule project activities to suit client’s timeline
• Liaise with vendors and participate in planning activities to facilitate effective delivery
• Ensure activities are carried out within budget requirements
• Contribute to regular and reliable forecasting of project costs
• Contribute to the provision of regular operational updates
• Support assurance (risk, quality, compliance, safety, value for money) collaboratively with M&T assurance team
• Support the transition to a network-based model

Could you be our next Project Engineer?

• Hold a Degree or other professional qualifications in Civil Engineering
• Previous exposure to road maintenance activities
• Quick learner with a can-do attitude
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong stakeholder relationship management skills
• Experience in vendor management
• Customer-centric mindset
• Experience of reporting to internal management and client using agreed formats and templates
