Civil Supervisor Maintenance (Water)

GCI Solutions delivers works and services in a collaborative partnership with the Council of City of Gold Coast’s (Council) Water and Waste (WW) to maintain, renew and improve the performance of its assets, under the new Asset Lifecycle Delivery Service (ALDS) program.

About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Delivery Manager the Civil Supervisor Maintenance will be responsible for the overall coordination and supervision of planned and reactive, high volume, low value, civil maintenance works (mostly self-performed), to ensure work is completed to the appropriate quality standards, within cost and time parameters. 

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
 

• Work with Planner to ensure appropriate schedule resources, plant and equipment, travel, and materials in allocated 
• Support the crews with oversight of the day-to-day activities of work crews, as well as perform administrative tasks as well as provide ongoing coaching and support. 
• Lead reporting activities relating to works planned, completed, risks and issues, with a focus on ongoing improvement of processes to support delivery.  
• Act as a role model for practical, positive & empowered safety behaviours in the workplace 
• Ensure statutory and organisational requirements are met, across all aspects of the work.  
• Deliver maintenance works so that they comply with and meet expectations from clients, communities, customers, environmental management requirements and other legislative requirements

About You
 

• Civil Supervisory experience essential.  
• Experience in the water sector desirable.
• Experience in a high-volume maintenance environment desirable.
• Extensive experience in the planning, set-up, and execution of works. 
• Current Driver’s Licence
