Workshop Yardhand / Labourer

We’re looking for a dedicated and reliable Workshop Yardhand/ Labourer to join our expanding team at the Withcott facility. This role provides an exciting entry point into the oil and gas industry and offers a dynamic environment where you’ll gain valuable experience supporting our Rig and Well Services operations and the wider Ventia contract. 
In this position, you’ll play a vital role in helping support our operations, collaborating with tradespeople to efficiently handle equipment and materials.
This is a fulltime permanent role working Monday to Friday. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound deliveries, stock levels, and accurate inventory, including issuing stock.
• Support the Trades team with spares and collaborate with tradespeople (mechanics, boilermakers, machinists).
• Assist in assembling/disassembling components, machinery, and structures; operate and maintain workshop tools and equipment.
• Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and tasks completed, while supporting general labouring needs.

About You:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills, especially in the oil and gas sector
• Forklift license is desirable but not essential
• Experience working on a computer
