As Defence continues to adapt, we recognise the importance of a fully trained, world-class firefighting and emergency response team as essential to support the protection of life, assets and the estate. Ventia will continue its strategic partnership with Defence after securing a 6-year, $564 million contract for Firefighting Services in July 2024. 


With over 20 years operating across Australia, today the team of 300+ firefighters is based at multiple sites, and equipped with a sizable firefighting fleet of aviation, structural and bushfire appliances.

Our Firefighting Services team is proud to offer a full range of firefighting capability, including:

  • Fire response (aviation, structural and bushfire)
  • Search and rescue first response support
  • Tower sentry and watch room services
