The leasehand position
A Leasehand is the entry-level position on a drilling or well servicing rig. You'll support the crew with a variety of tasks including equipment handling, site preparation, cleaning and housekeeping, loading supplies, manual labour and assisting with day-to-day rig operations.
This role is often the first step towards a long-term career in the oil and gas industry.

Hours and roster
Employees generally work a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster.
While on roster you can expect:
Depending on operational requirements, shifts may extend beyond 12 hours.

- Travel between camp and worksite
