Ventia offers a range of Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) and Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) roles that support remote and regional operations across Australia. These roles are essential to delivering services, keep operations running smoothly and communities supported.

Where you’ll make a difference 

Our FIFO and DIDO teams are deployed to remote sites, where they contribute to work in:

FIFO and DIDO

Common rosters

2:1 Roster
  • 2 weeks on site
  • 1 week at home
  • Popular for interstate projects and remote locations

2:2 Roster
  • 2 weeks on site
  • 2 weeks at home
  • Great balance between work and personal time

3:3 Roster
  • 3 weeks on site
  • 3 weeks at home
  • Extended time off between swings
 
Rosters may vary depending on the project, location and client requirements. 

The differences

FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) means that employees fly from a designated point to the work site and return home at the end of their roster.

DIDO (Drive-In Drive-Out) means that employees travel to site by vehicle and return home after completing their roster.
