• $44.55 and hour inclusive of allowances 

• Full-time role working 38 hours per week Monday to Friday 

• Finish at 12 pm on Fridays!

An exciting opportunity for an Electrical Fitter to join our fun, collaborative, and hardworking Defence Maintenance Contract team based at Amberley. This is an opportunity to join Ventia in a role which provides a corridor for a great lifestyle outside of work!  
     
About the role   
As an Electrical Fitter you will perform all Electrical Fitter trade related tasks associated with install, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, equipment and wiring in vehicles, trailers, plant and equipment. 

• Maintain, service, test and repair field power generators and field power generation plant and equipment 

• Maintain, repair and service air conditioning systems 

• Maintain, service, test and repair mobile refrigeration units 

• Work with computer-controlled diagnostic and management systems 

• Refer to circuit diagrams and use meters and test instruments to find electrical faults 

• Adjust control systems and timing to ensure plant and equipment are running at peak performance 

   
About you   

• Certificate III in Electrical Fitting / Electrotechnology 

• QLD Electrical License/tickets relevant to the role 

• Current Open Australian driver's license is required 

• You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
