We're on the lookout for a proactive and organised Maintenance Planner to join our team full-time at RAAF Base Amberley. This is a great opportunity if you're a qualified tradesperson ready to step off the tools and move into planning, or if you already have some experience in a maintenance environment and want to take the next step in your career.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you'll support the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities for Defence assets. You’ll work closely with the Senior Regional Planner and collaborate with both Ventia and Defence teams to make sure work is planned, resourced, and delivered smoothly. This opportunity offers 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday (7am - 3:45pm) with an early 12pm finish every Friday.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Managing and planning maintenance work orders using SAP S4/HANA
- Creating and reviewing maintenance plans to ensure timely and effective execution
- Coordinating resources to ensure the right parts and personnel are available for each job
- Collaborating with the scheduling team to align maintenance activities with Defence priorities
- Participating in regular planning meetings to monitor progress and maintain schedules
- Identifying and resolving issues early to prevent delays or disruptions to planned work

Who We’re Looking For
- You might already be working in maintenance planning or scheduling, or perhaps you’re a hands-on tradesperson ready to move into a planning role – either way, we’d love to hear from you.
- Please note: You must be an Australian citizen and eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance.
- It’s ideal (but not essential) if you have:
- Experience in maintenance planning or scheduling
- A trade qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering or similar)
- Familiarity with SAP or similar systems – or a willingness to learn
