Field Supervisor - Telco

Ventia is proud to be delivering Telstra’s Intercity Fibre (ICF) network upgrade — a once-in-a-generation infrastructure project revitalising the national inter-city fibre network.

We’re currently hiring Field Supervisors to lead the delivery of multiple remote and regional projects. These newly created roles will oversee subcontractor teams, manage on-site operations, and ensure safety standards are upheld across dynamic work environments.

Due to the mobile nature of our project sites, we welcome applications from across NSW, including (but not limited to): Greater Sydney, Newcastle, Dubbo, Bathurst, Orange, Port Macquarie and other mid-north coast towns and Wagga Wagga.

About the role:

• Safety Leadership: Inductions, toolbox talks, SWMS compliance
• Project Oversight: Monitor operations, drive performance improvements
• Team Management: Supervise contractors, ensure safety and quality
• Planning & Scheduling: Coordinate activities, meet milestones
• Quality Assurance: Conduct compliance checks
• Reporting: Maintain digital records via laptop/iPad
• OHSE Accountability: Own site safety and audit KPIs

What you’ll need:

• Experience in Telstra major works (fibre ploughing, IEN builds, Blackspot projects) or other demonstrated telco experience 
• Proven supervisory experience in civil infrastructure
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Solid computer literacy (Excel, Word, reporting tools)
