Rigger

Ventia is seeking an experienced Rigger to join our Wireless team on the MOCN project, delivering 4G and 5G upgrades for Optus across NSW. This is a full-time, fixed-term role through to March 2026, with the potential to extend.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a high-performing team working on telecommunications towers all over NSW. This is a hands-on, field-based role involving travel, shift work, and a strong focus on safety and quality.

• Mobilising to site, loading materials, and reviewing build schedules
• Performing external rigging works on monopoles and lattice towers
• Installing antennas, radios, TMAs, hybrid cables, and interpreting full construction drawings
• Demobilising and transitioning to the next site as per project schedule

What you’ll need:

Mandatory:

• Basic Rigging, Dogman & EWP tickets.
• Rigging experience (Optus/Telco preferred, civil considered)
• Ability to interpret construction and plumbing drawings

Preferred:

• First Aid, CPR, Tower Rescue
• VOC on winches
