ABOUT US 
 

Gold Coast Infrastructure Solutions (GCIS), is a 50:50 unincorporated joint venture between Ventia and Downer. Gold Coast Infrastructure Solutions delivers water supply and sewerage services to the City of Gold Coast, Australia’s second largest Local Government Area. The scope of works includes planned and reactive repairs and maintenance, refurbishment and renewals programs, and capital works related to the City of Gold Coast’s water and sewerage network assets and facilities.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Contract Administrator is responsible for providing commercial and procurement support to the program delivery team ensuring compliance with organisational standards for both GCI Solutions and the City of Gold Coast. 

Reporting to the Commercial and Procurement Manager, additional responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:
 

  • Managing the risk of the Project business, in accordance with the terms of the framework agreement.
  • Providing support with tendering process (including prequalification and review of prospective tenders) 
  • Providing timely notice to the Project Delivery teams on critical/milestone dates, practical completion, defect liability periods and final completion.
  • Managing and maintain registers for work packages.
  • Monitoring and management of subcontractor agreements.

ABOUT YOU 

This role would suit someone with 2 to 3 years of contract administration experience, potentially from a finance or QS background.
 

  • Experience with contract reviews, assessment and departures, as well as preparation of sub-contractor agreements would be highly regarded. 
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and SharePoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills - able to present information to a range of audiences
