Night Shift Supervisor

About the Role 
Reporting to the Civil Superintendent, the Night Shift Supervisor is based at our Stretton depot and is responsible for the supervision of the Open Roads night shift work crews (including the management of subcontractors) Monday to Thursday 19h30 – 04h30 (flexibility required). You will split time between the office and site, with key responsibilities including (but not limited to):
 

• Ensuring productivity, through the delivery of project on time and within budget. 
• Management of safety, health and environment, including management of incidents, compliance with relevant standards.  
• Planning and Scheduling of work, and the management and allocation of work orders. 
• Building strong relationships with client and relevant stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of progress and issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

Our ideal candidate will have previously held supervisory roles, within the civil / transport industry. We are looking for a creative thinker, with a solution focused attitude. The role requires well developed people management skills, and the ability to positively influence team morale and productivity. In addition, the following will be highly regarded:
 

• Cert 3 or 4 in Civil Construction / Maintenance, or similar 
• Front line management or leadership training 
• MR Licence (or higher)
• Tickets including Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, EWP etc would be valued.
