A new opportunity with Ventia for an experienced Stores and Plant Supervisor to join our Transurban QLD team. The role oversees the management of stores and plant operations across our roads and tunnels network. This is hands on leadership role with the opportunity to redefine and improve inventory and asset management processes across multiple sites. 

Although you are working a standard 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday there is a requirement for some flexibility as the network operates 24/7 365 days.

About the Role
You will be responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting maintenance delivery teams. 

This role offers autonomy, variety and the chance to inject your own ideas and innovations into a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Duties include: - 

•    Supervise and manage stores and plant operations across multiple locations
•    Ensure accountability, neatness, and compliance in stores
•    Oversee inventory management and vehicle turnaround processes using Maximo
•    Support maintenance activities by ensuring timely parts availability
•    Lead and develop a small team, with potential for growth
•    Collaborate with supervisors and delivery teams to meet contractual KPIs
•    Maintain safety, environmental, and quality standards

 

Required Skills and Experience
•    Qualifications in stores and warehousing
•    Solid experience in stores/warehousing management
•    Strong background in inventory management and asset control
•    Leadership and supervisory experience
•    Experience with Maximo or SAP (desirable)
•    General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
•    Forklift High Risk Work Licence
•    MR/HR Drivers licence
•    Strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills
