WA/NT Construction Manager

About The Role
Ventia is seeking a Construction Manager Critical Infrastructure WA/NT to join our close knit and long-standing team based in Canning Vale. This is a full-time permanent position with the flexibility to work from home with travel around WA and NT when required.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver commercially successful outcomes for scope, time, budget, and quality.
• Set up early works, delivery and completion systems and processes, coordinates teams.
• Monitor and report on productivity, drive performance and implement strategies to improve programme and margin
• Be the key contact and liaison between stakeholders on site
• Build internal capability as well as new sub-contracting base.
• Foster existing sub-contractor base.
• Lead client reporting for the region and continue to foster customer / client relationships. 

About You

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in construction, engineering, electrical or similar. 
• Experience within the Telecommunications industry highly desirable.    
• Understanding of contracts and Australian Construction Standards. 
• Sound Knowledge of construction, project and program controls principles and practices  
• Very highly developed dispute resolution, collaboration and negotiation skills. 
• A high level of motivation and commitment to improve work practices, systems and procedures.
• Flexible attitude to working hours to meet demand.
