Mechanical Fitter

Confluence Water, a Ventia, Downer and Jacobs Joint Venture, delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services for Sydney Water. We work hard to ensure that Sydney Water keeps running for people who live in the North Region of Sydney . We offer a vast amount of interesting work , working on water and sewage pumping stations, Water Reservoirs and sewerage treatment plants  in the Northern Area of operation  . Work can vary from preventive maintenance , breakdowns , fault finding and project work including replacement of pumps , valves . This is a part of our ten-year contract with Sydney Water.

We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our Team and keep the Sydney Water mechanical assets delivering to the communities in the North region of Sydney.

You will be maintaining essential infrastructure and troubleshooting a diverse range of mechanical equipment in the water and wastewater space.  We have recently signed the contract with Sydney Water, ensuring the next 5 years of the partnership.

A Tool of Trade Vehicle is provided with this role.

ABOUT YOU

• Certificate III or IV in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
• Work Safely at Heights
• Enter Confined Space
• Provide First Aid
• Able to execute work tasks with minimal supervision.

Desirable Skills (Confluence Water can provide training as required by the business.)

• Elevated Work Platform
• High Risk Work License - Dogging (DG) Competent in core elements required for the discipline and demonstrated experience in some site-specific tasks
