Mechanical Fitter

Confluence Water, a Ventia, Downer and Jacobs Joint Venture, is one of three Regional Delivery Partnerships providing services for Sydney Water. We work hard to ensure that Sydney Water keeps running for people who live in the North Region of Sydney - rain, hail or shine. We are often the first to reach an emergency during severe weather events and we are responsible for the delivery of an unprecedented pipeline of capital works across the life of our ten year contract.

Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services across the north region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.

We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our Maintenance team and work across the Sydney Water sites across the North Region as above. You will be maintaining essential infrastructure and troubleshooting a diverse range of mechanical equipment. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Penstock, repairs / replacement
• Mixer / Mast project in water
• L4L pump / valve installs
• Other L4L work
• MPM work replacement of valves /pipework /pumps
• Tools of Trade vehicle will be supplied.
• Working in wastewater 
• Overtime required and will be part of a call-out roster
