Plumber

The Role
Ventia are seeking an experienced Plumbing Technician to maintain the operation and management of assets. This role will see you based at Edinburgh Defence Precinct in a permanent fulltime position.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Installation, maintenance and repair of water and gas systems
• Diagnosis of faults and problems across domestic, commercial and industrial assets
• Repair water systems and ensure test plans are in accordance with quality and technical procedures, work instructions and safe practices
• Complete work orders and verify tasks in accordance with defence requirements
• Carry out auditing & condition assessments of defence assets
• Ensure all safety and quality documentation is accurately recorded
• Preventative maintenance and other related plumbing tasks

Requirements

• Fully qualified, Licenced Plumber/Gas Fitter (SA) - Required
• Facility Maintenance experience desirable
• Extensive fault-finding knowledge
• Experienced in applicable standards, codes and regulations
• Good communication skills and the ability to use IT effectively
• EWP/ Boom lift ticket/experience is desirable
• Must hold full valid Driving Licence - Required
• Must be an Australian citizen capable of obtaining a Defence Security Clearance
