Electrical Operator Maintainer

Ventia is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrical Maintainer / Operator to join our Operations Team at Millmerran Power Station.

As a key member of the Operations Team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining coal and ash plant equipment to ensure maximum availability, efficiency, and safety. This dual-role position combines hands-on operational duties with maintenance responsibilities, supporting the broader maintenance team as required.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating, inspecting, isolating, cleaning, maintaining, and repairing plant machinery and equipment
• Collaborating with the maintenance team to meet plant performance targets
• Using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage and complete work orders
• Participating in risk assessments, safety analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards

What You’ll Need

• Trade qualification (Electrical)
• First Aid Certificate
• Experience in coal plant operations or industrial experience
• Loader Ticket/ Forklift Licence
• This role is based on-site at the Millmerran Power Station. For fatigue management reasons, the successful candidate must reside within a 1-hour drive of Millmerran or be willing to relocate (at their own expense).
