Reliability Engineer

Ventia provide operational and maintenance services to the Coal and Ash Handling plant at Millmerran Power Station, which generates 870MW of electricity to over 1 million homes.

About the Role:

The Reliability Engineer ensures the plant achieves maximum performance whilst maintaining a high level of safety, environmental responsibility, protection, improved reliability and maintainability of plant assets. As well as providing technical, analytical and engineering support for all coal and ash handling equipment.

Duties include but not limited to:
 

• Providing support and coordination to the Site Superintendents and Client Representatives in identifying the baseline Maintenance Procedures and Operation Instructions, as a part of continuous improvement process;
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis investigations, reporting and implementation of derived actions;
• Considering the plant assets lifecycle phase, develop, implements and administer effective quality management systems
• Providing technical advice on maintenance, reliability and condition monitoring

About You:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Experience within a Maintenance/Reliability Engineering role
• Skills in failure analysis techniques such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Experience with CMMS systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Current drivers license
