The Opportunity
As our Site Supervisor, you will closely support the JLU Manager and be responsible for works delivered by our Technical Supervisors, Production Clerks and Schedulers. As well as this, you will find yourself forecasting work on site, conducting quality and safety reviews among many other tasks to ensure exceptional output across the Moorebank Defence site.

Primary responsibilities include, however are not limited to:
- Act as the second in charge of the site responsible to the Site Manager and back fill the Site Manager whilst they are off site.
- All required services are planned, coordinated and delivered according to the specific JLU site and service location requirements for specific service product lines. This includes the allocation, tasking and sourcing of internal labour, subcontractors and equipment.
- The necessary supervision is in place and able to effectively supervise the contract delivery requirements.
- Report writing as required either within MS Word, MS Excel or within Defence specific software (eg DEMS).
- Injury Management and Workers Compensation Support – with assistance from WHS Manager and HSEQ coordinator.
- Technical and subject matter advice is sourced and provided as required.
- Assisting the Site Manager in Staff productivity, retention, skills acquisition and development is appropriate and promotes contract succession and is in accordance with the requisite IR/HR instruments and policies of the company.
- Ensuring that contract KPIs are achieved.
- Contributing to collaborative innovation by identifying continuous improvement initiatives, analysing and recommending improvements to current Defence maintenance practices.
- Conducting maintenance analysis and provide maintenance advice.
Could you be our next Site Supervisor?
- Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance and therefore, must be an Australian Citizen.
- Experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance environment is desirable.
- Thorough knowledge of maintenance service delivery.
- Excellent customer service focus.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Trade qualified – mechanical.
