Civil Worker

The Role
Ventia are seeking applications from Civil Workers to join our Venture Smart team, delivering projects to our client Main Roads Western Australia. In this role you will be working in our Maintenance Team, supporting minor and major repairs on Main Roads assets, including traffic control signals, roadway lighting, electronic speed limit signs, CCTV cameras, vehicle detention systems and more.

This is a full-time permanent role working 38hours per week. Whilst the depot is based in Jandakot WA, you will be operating on assets across the Perth metropolitan area and regional areas when required.

The pay rate for this position is $38.03 per hour (plus penalties and allowances).

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Perform general labouring duties on civil sites, including site preparation, pipe & conduit laying
• Reporting to the Jandakot depot at the start of your shift
• Receiving your weekly job assignment & travelling to various work sites in a company vehicle
• Conducting both minor & major repairs to Main Roads assets

Skills and Experience:

• WA Driver’s Licence – HR preferred
• Excavator Operators ticket
• Experience working in a manual labouring role
• Motivated self-starter, willing to contribute and work as part of a team
