HVAC Technician

The Role
Ventia is seeking a standout HVAC Technician to join their dynamic Defence Team stationed at RAAF Base Pearce in Bullsbrook, WA. As a crucial member of the Estate Upkeep team, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining, repairing, and optimizing facilities and advanced HVAC systems.

This isn't your typical 9-to-5 job—it's a full-time, permanent role with weekday hours from 07:00am to 03:30pm, plus ample opportunities for overtime. Imagine cruising to work in your own company-provided Tool of Trade vehicle, ensuring you arrive ready to tackle any challenge the day presents. 

The payrate for this position is $42.72 per hour.

To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check.

Key duties, but not limited to: 

• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems
• Contribute to overall site maintenance
• Perform reactive and planned preventative maintenance and testing as required via Mobility (iPad)
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services promptly and efficiently
• Ensure inspection results are recorded online with objective quality evidence standards
• Provide flexibility to meet the demands of out of hours and call out work as required

Skills & Experience:

• WA Driver’s Licence
• Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
• Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Experience in a HVAC role across residential, commercial and industrial work environments
• Willingness to travel occasionally to the different metro & remote defence sites as required
