Ventia Wollongong is seeking a motivated individual to join our Project Services team, where you will be responsible for the coordination of all planning, scheduling, cost control, and supervision of work. Your expertise will ensure the most effective use of labour and resources, driving our projects to success.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Coordinate resources for Project Services activities, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and quality outcomes.
•    Lead projects and assist site Supervisors with planning and cost control.
•    Oversee Work Shop activities and collaborate closely with the Work Shop Supervisor.
•    Ensure compliance with Acts, Regulations, Policies, Procedures, and Australian Standards.
•    Balance resources to meet project and shutdown schedules within the allowed time frame.
•    Improve planning performance by critiquing scheduled outcomes and providing relevant KPIs.
•    Negotiate with resource providers to develop efficient schedules based on business needs.
•    Establish and maintain strong working relationships with teams responsible for work identification, planning, scheduling, and resourcing.
•    Maintain long-range demand forecasts for resource requirements and liaise with subcontractors.
•    Ensure all labour resources are appropriately trained and qualified.
•    Maintain and update training matrixes and records.

Risk, Health, Safety, Quality & Environment:

•    Comply with Ventia Risk Management, Quality Assurance, and Health, Safety, and Environment management systems.
•    Initiate actions to prevent non-conformities in processes or systems.
•    Identify, recommend, and assist in issue resolution processes.
•    Verify and confirm the effective implementation of solutions.
•    Promote a positive HSE culture in the workplace.

Technical Competencies:

•    High level of skill and experience in Maintenance and Construction Activities.
•    Tertiary and/or Trade qualifications in an applicable discipline (or equivalent).
•    Knowledge of construction, project, and program controls principles and practices.
•    Basic computer skills.
•    Project management proficiencies.
•    Demonstrated commitment to Ventia's vision, values, and business objectives.
•    Knowledge of current and industry-recognized safety work practices, procedures, and regulations.
