As a Supervisor – Maintenance Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of operations across Clyde, Parramatta, and Gore Bay Terminals, leading a diverse team of skilled tradespeople and ensuring the safe, reliable performance of vital infrastructure.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead a skilled team of Fitters, Welders, Boilermakers, Riggers, Scaffolders, Painters, and more.
  • Champion safety by ensuring all maintenance activities meet the highest standards of compliance and care.
  • Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance across mechanical plant and equipment.
  • Supervise complex works including pipeline fabrication, hydro testing, flange jointing, and mechanical rebuilds.
  • Collaborate with Viva Energy Engineering to deliver projects on time and to spec.
  • Drive quality assurance through documentation, NDT inspections, and work execution packages.
  • Mentor and guide trades teams through technical challenges and project delivery.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or similar (Boilermaking, Welding highly regarded)
  • Diploma in Engineering or equivalent (desirable)
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and supervision
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC, NDT, and pipeline fabrication standards (ASME B31.3)
  • Experience with permit-to-work systems and WHS compliance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital job management systems
