Site Facilities Manager

About the Role
The Site Facilities Manager will leveraging expertise in facilities management to optimise operation efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for teachers, students and visitors. 

Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 
 

• Managing all works in line with contractual requirements to achieve KPIs
• Proactively managing subcontractors 
• Undertaking quality and compliance audits
• Supporting the development of, implementing and monitoring all required maintenance plans for routine works 
• Managing site safety 
• Managing stakeholder relationships 

The role is permanent, full time, Monday to Friday, with requirement to be on call (rostered) based on site, for Coomera Rivers State Primary School and Bayview State Primary School.

Required Skills and Experience
Success in this role will be driven by your ability to implement of cost-effective strategies, foster team collaboration, and enhance of the overall functionality of the managed facilities, to support contract goals and service delivery.  

We are looking for:
 

• Experience in maintenance engineering, facilities management, asset maintenance
• Blue card working with children (highly desirable / ability to obtain)
• Confident and professional demeanour
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team
• Demonstrated written communication and IT skills
• An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
