About The Role:
As an Australian Defence Force partner, Ventia works across some of Australia’s newest, most unique equipment including artillery, small arms, instruments, night vision equipment, high-tech armoured vehicles, personnel carriers, and propulsion equipment.
Join a team of 20 Trade professionals on Ventia’s Defence maintenance facility located in South Guildford, WA. Reporting to the JLU Manager (Joint Logistics Unit), you will be responsible for ensuring effective, efficient, and best practice planning, scheduling, resourcing, progress monitoring and performance assessment and reporting.
This full-time opportunity offers 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday with an early finish on the Friday. This role offers salary between $86k - $92k inclusive of Superannuation depending on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and scheduling day-to-day network maintenance activities and programs
- Using the Commonwealth Mandated Information System for Work Order management, maintenance task scheduling, parts requisition, and parts management
- Contributing to collaborative innovation by identifying continuous improvement initiatives
- Analysing and recommending improvements to current Ventia and Defence maintenance practices
Key Skills & Attributes Include:
- Demonstrated experience in conducting planning and scheduling activities within a maintenance or production environment
- Demonstrated experience in managing customer service and customer expectations
- Good problem-solving, writing and analysis skills
- Experience with computer-based management software. E.G: SAP - Desirable
- Relevant professional qualifications – Desirable
Due to the nature of our client, you must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain and maintain Defence Security Clearance.
