About the Role
As the Project Engineer you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality road maintenance and construction projects. You will lead with a safety-first mindset, ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards, and collaborate closely with clients, contractors and internal teams. In this role you will cover two projects in the Wonglepong and Boyland region. A flexible approach to working hours is necessary to facilitate delivery of project work during closures and interfaces with operational periods. 

Key responsibilities include –

• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high HSEQ standards
• Lead planning, procurement and resource management
• Prepare and manage project documentation, cost reports and claims
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to influence project outcomes
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery
• Technical responsibilities include project scope development and documentations, preparing design briefs, constructability reviews, estimation support, tenders/pricing, project and contract management, delivery and supervision and verification of completed works.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or related field)
• TMR experience in road maintenance, asset management or construction
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (Civil Pro – preferred)
• Experience in quality systems including NCR, RFI and LOT processes
