Confluence Water, a Ventia, Downer and Jacobs Joint Venture, is one of three Regional Delivery Partnerships providing services for Sydney Water. We work hard to ensure that Sydney Water keeps running for people who live in the North Region of Sydney - rain, hail or shine. We are often the first to reach an emergency during severe weather events and we are responsible for the delivery of an unprecedented pipeline of capital works over the next 10 years.

Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.
 

We have an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Confluence Water Joint Venture team on a permanent, full-time position based in Katoomba.  This presents an excellent opportunity to undertake Construction of Water & Wastewater Projects in a long-term program of works. You will be responsible for the delivery of the project from inception to final stage commissioning whilst focusing on the development and efficient productivity of a growing team.  This is a unique opportunity to be part of the elite team delivering the total upgrade to the Cascades Plant Site in Katoomba. 

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • First twelve months will be based in our head office at Chatswood
  • Based in Katoomba once the project commences
  • Major Water treatment plant upgrade
     

ABOUT YOU 

  • Passionate about the Project Management Fundamentals including:- Time, Cost, Schedule, Risk.      
  • Ideally experience in managing large construction Tier 1 water infrastructure projects or similar
  • Solid experience and understanding of project forecasting requirements. 
  • Can effectively communicate with senior leaders and tradespeople.  
  • Exposure to large infrastructure projects is advantageous. 
  • Proven and demonstrated leadership skills. 
  • Ability to multitask and has an appetite for developing others.
