About the Role
To support the delivery of refurbishment projects on eight synchronous condensers and support maintenance activities of New Zealand’s HVDC link at our Haywards Substation in Wellington. You will develop engineering competencies in high voltage systems while contributing to project outcomes. 
 
About You  
•    Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or a related field
•    NZ Class 1 Driver’s License
•    A minimum of 2 + years experience in the High Voltage or Medium Voltage electrical industry 
•    Understanding of electrical systems, compliances and electrical standards
•    Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
•    Demonstrate high levels of understanding of and adherence to the Health and Safety practices and regulations of the High Voltage Industry
