Ventia has been awarded a new four-year contract by Seqwater to deliver preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance along with electrical, mechanical and instrumentational services across its water network. Ventia will provide services across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations and 26 referable dams.

The Optimisation & Planning Managers purpose is to lead a team of 8 consisting of Planners and Schedulers across 3 regions throughout South East Queensland.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing collected data and advise client best methodology to deliver works cost effectively and efficiently.
  • Assist teams with building business cases based on the data collected.
  • Review and build functionality to enhance user experience of the clients system
  • Work toward aligning the clients with ISO550001 via the 4 year road map to drive innovation
  • Build PowerBI Reports as required 
  • Team Leadership and Training

 

About You 

To be successful in the role of Optimisation and Planning Manager, you should have the following skills and experience: 

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, or Project Management with significant mechanical or electrical trades experience.
  • Proven track record in a Maintenance Engineering Management role 
  • Technically competent in the use of PowerBi, Mainpac, MS Products and other Engineering and Project Management Software
  • Demonstrated ability to develop excellent working relationships with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and direct reports 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage with senior client personnel, management and all levels of the project delivery team
