Ventia, in partnership with Homes NSW, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Western Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting properties across the region, ensuring that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.

A typical day:

  • Inspect government properties, coordinating trade contractors and subcontractors to ensure maintenance work is completed on time and in compliance with requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and subcontractors to keep them informed of any issues related to contract performance and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to worksite instructions, including Risk Assessments, Job Analysis, Hazard Identification, and in-process inspections.
  • Identify and address defective work or non-conforming practices, implementing corrective and preventive actions where necessary.
  • Contribute to the training and development of operations staff and subcontractors through toolbox meetings, workshops, and related activities.

 

About You:
The ideal candidate will undergo reference, police, and medical checks. You will also have:

  • A trade qualification.
  • Relevant experience in building, construction site management, or quality inspection.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills.
