Ventia has an exciting opportunity for a Roading Construction Supervisor to join their Transport Infrastructure team based in the beautiful Bay of Islands.

About the role

As a key member of our team, you'll take charge of roading projects including, drainage, pavement, and earthworks. Your role will involve:

  • Supervising a dedicated team of 3-4 crew members
  • Taking a hands-on approach, spending majority of your time on-site
  • Monitoring and managing project progress, costs, and timeframes
  • Overseeing all stages of the project to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. 

 

About you

We're looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Solid background in roading construction
  • Proven leadership potential with the ability to manage a team effectively
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and good technical skills
  • Good financial understanding to keep projects on track
  • Ability to work confidently in a supervisory role and provide expert advice
