ABOUT THE ROLE

The ECI/Scoping Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of work from NZTA to the Capital Works Delivery Team, consistently exceeding client expectations.

Key responsibilities include leadership, communication, safety, environmental management, financial performance, and quality assurance.  The role also demands proactive resource management to maximize financial returns and effective communication to uphold service level agreements and maintain strong client relationships.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex projects, collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders and clients, and driving positive outcomes. They will need to have a strong track record in site administration and handling of commercial terms for consultants and subcontractors for work projects.  Experience in the roading or construction industry is a desirable and knowledge of NZS3910 will set you apart.

Other skills and experience

• Class 1 driver’s licence
• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Excellent computer skills
• Familiarity with SAM
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills
