Upholsterer

•    $39.17 per hour, inclusive of allowances 

•    Full-time role working 38 hours per week Monday to Friday 
•    Finish at 12 pm on Fridays!

Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand. As an Australian Defence Force partner, Ventia works across some of Australia’s newest, most unique equipment including artillery, small arms, instruments, night vision equipment, high-tech armoured vehicles, personnel carriers, and propulsion equipment.   
 
We have an opportunity for an qualified Upholsterer to join our hardworking Defence Maintenance Contract team based at Amberley, QLD. This is an opportunity to join Ventia in a role which provides a corridor for a great lifestyle outside of work!  

About the Role   

As an Upholsterer you will be inspecting, quoting and repairing various Defence tents, canvases and some vehicle upholstery equipment which also include seats, roof and door linings or interior trim or floor coverings. 
This role will suit someone who can do repetitive and regimented tasks but at a comfortable pace. This could also suit someone who's been away from the trade but is ready to get back into it again!

About You   

•    Trade Qualified Upholsterer OR Cert 3 in Vehicle Body – Trimming. 
•    Current Open Australian driver's license is required

•    You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
