Trainee Telecommunication Technicians

About the Role

Ventia are seeking expression of interest for Trainee Telecommunications Technicians for Permanent positions based out of our new offices in Cremorne, VIC starting in February 2024.

As a Trainee, you will be working in a fast-paced environment across different parts of our Telecommunications division and locations throughout Melbourne while attaining a Certificate III in Telecommunications. The ideal applicant will have the ability to plan and coordinate field works and liaise with customers.
 

The successful candidates will experience but not limited to:

• NBN customer premise installations
• NBN Network maintenance
• Fibre Optic Installations
• Voice and Data cable installation
• Telecommunications network management

About You

• Professional and polite communication
• Enjoy working in a team environment
• Positive attitude and safety-first approach
• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol screening.
• Be technically minded.

The successful applicants will be required to undertake a National Police check and medical as per contractual requirements and hold a valid driver’s licence.
