Senior Traffic Planner

The Role
Ventia has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Traffic Planner to join our Venture Smart team. This role will work across both planned maintenance activities and capital works projects producing traffic management plans from generic templates and associated guidance schemes as full plans.

This is a full-time permanent role, working Monday to Friday, and will see you based in Jandakot, WA.

The salary package for this role will be from $80,000 to $98,000 per year plus super, based on experience.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Development of traffic management plans
• Liaise with various stake holders 
• Analyse traffic data & travel patterns
• Design & recommend traffic control risk mitigation measures and signal timing strategies
• Prepare technical reports & documentation for internal & external stakeholders
• Provide technical traffic management support to the operational delivery teams 

Requirements:

• Advanced Worksite Traffic Manager (AWTM)
• Auto Cad experience – Desirable
• Experience working around traffic signals, planning, & risk assessment
• Hands on collaborative approach to solving problems
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
