Ventia's Kitchenhand positions are based in Middlemount, Moranbah or Moura Mine Site camps, working a 14 day on /7 day off, drive in, drive out roster with meals and accommodation provided while on site. The full-time salary for the role is $79,258.03 plus superannuation, annual leave and sick leave is also accrued.

 

Ventia's Kitchenhand ensure a high standard of cleanliness during meal service for residents of mine site camp and assist the kitchen staff to ensure an adequate supply of food is available for consumption during service times.

 

Responsibilities of the role;

  • Safe food handling, sanitisation and cleanliness of the meal and service areas
  • Ensuring cleanliness of food preparation equipment
  • Assist in stock takes and other inventory control activities as required
  • Comply with site specific safety requirements and report any potential issues

 

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in large commercial kitchen and dining
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to high standards of customer service
