Washpoint Attendant and Transport Driver

Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand. Our clients are the owners and operators of assets that are critical to our local communities.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the newly created role of Washpoint Attendant and Transport Driver at Puckapunyal Defence Base (located near Seymour). The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our newly established vehicle washpoint and providing transport services for defence personnel during downtime.

This is a full-time, permanent position operating from Monday - Friday with ad-hoc weekend work. 

The pay rate is $30.45 per hour. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning tasks using the washpoint facility
• Provide training to defence clientele on how to use the washpoint equipment and conduct equipment induction sessions
• Report any damages or issues with the washpoint equipment to Ventia management
• Attend daily briefings to receive information on vehicles scheduled for washpoint usage and provide feedback to Ventia
• Provide passenger transport services for defence personnel as required
• Operate the washpoint telephone to assist defence clientele with queries about the facility and equipment operation
• Utilize ride-on sweeper equipment for maintaining cleanliness in designated areas
   

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license (Preference given to candidates with a medium rigid license)
• Driver's certificate for passenger transport (Candidates can start without this but must obtain it at a later stage)
• Australian citizenship
