An exciting opportunity for a Trade Assistant to join our fun, collaborative, and hardworking Defence Maintenance Contract team based at Wallangarra. This is an opportunity to join Ventia in a role which provides a corridor for a great lifestyle outside of work!  
     
About the Role

As a Trade Assistant you will ... 

• Helping trades personnel with all types of work in the workshop 
• Assisting in maintenance and storeroom tasks 
• Maintaining the work area in a neat and orderly manner 
• Operating plant and equipment where qualified and licenced to do so 

   
About You

• Hold a current Driver’s License (C class, manual, open) 
• Have a great attitude, a good work ethic and complete tasks with minimal supervision 
• Additional experience would also be highly desirable; 
• Tyre fitting experience 
• High Risk Work license with competencies in Forklift 
• Computer Literacy using Microsoft office products (especially Excel) 
• You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
